Every year, we have students who compete in legal writing competitions, and our students are successful in these endeavors.
One such example has happened recently. 3L Vlada Soshkina recently won third place in a legal writing competition sponsored by the Association of Securities and Exchange Commission Alumni (ASECA).
Vlada’s third place paper is a Note that was recently published in the William & Mary Law Review, entitled “Beyond Morrison: The Effect of the ‘Presumption Against Extraterritoriality’ and the Transactional Test on Foreign Tender Offers.”
Vlada will be recognized and receive a cash prize at the ASECA annual dinner n February, held in Washington, D.C.
